COMPUTER-CONTROLLED FUNCTIONS
Owing to its state-of-the-art integrated computer control, operation requires only a minimum of 3 buttons:
ON/OFF BUTTON – to turn on and off the entire system / when turning it on, “Flash Mode” (maximum luminance) will be activated automatically for protection.
FUNCTION BUTTON – to control the various blinking signals.
CALL BUTTON – to make emergency calls using the installed GSM module.
Energy Management System
Full control of the respective battery status via:
CHARGE INDICATOR – a blinking signal indicates charging.
BATTERY INDICATOR – 4 different LEDs show at a glance the current battery level (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
ADAPTER SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING
To enable various applications, IWARN® comes with an integrated adapter ball allowing quick and safe connection to different holder systems for use at work or during your leisure time.
The ultramodern magnetic base for the installation of IWARN® on the car top is standard equipment. It allows mounting it safely even in wet conditions or when it is snowing. It can withstand speeds of more than 150 km/h and comes with a scratch-preventing surface for the protection of your car paint.

IWARN® is controlled and monitored by a complex system of microcontrollers and microchips which ensure maximum safety, reliability and operator convenience. A specially developed booster control, for example, helps keeping luminance constant even if the battery goes low.

CONNECTED WORLDWIDE
THROUGH GSM AND MAGENTA®
The installed GSM mobile telephone system with antenna booster ensures that the position and the emergency call can be transmitted instantly and independently of other mobile phones. The GSM module is suited for all mobile phone networks (GSM 850 / 900 /1800 / 1900 MHz and WCDMA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz) 3G / 4G (LTE) and connects automatically to the network providing the best coverage. To that end, a SIM card from Magenta® has been integrated by standard and allows operation in more than 40 countries. For the owner of IWARN® no charges or fees incur (roaming fees, etc.).

EXTREMELY STRONG LIGHT
Due to the use of altogether 21 individual state-of-the-art
LED bulbs each with a high-precision lens, light distribution
at close range and from a distance is ultrabright, homogenous and straight to the point. To avoid dazzling of road
users in cities it is possible to switch over to “city mode” providing for a reduction of luminance to 60%.

POSITIONED STRAIGHT TO THE SPOT
The installed stand-alone GPS determines the respective position with an accuracy of +/- 1.5 metres. Despite this exactness recognition takes only about 30 seconds. This system works with all 4 satellite networks: GPS (USA), Galileo (EUROPA), GLONASS (Russia) and BeiDou (China). Moreover, IWARN® is also equipped with the GPS variant “A-GPS”. This assisted GPS links with the mobile phone network and determines automatically the position via the mobile phone mast used by the GSM in case it is not possible to connect to one of the satellite networks in the sky.

WATER-PROOF AND DUST-TIGHT
Owing to its compliance with the international type of protection “IP 67”, IWARN® is protected completely against the penetration of dust and microparticles. Moreover, IWARN® is water-proof (for at least 30 minutes up to a depth of 1m).

TEMPERATURE-INSENSITIVE
FROM -30° TO +80° CELSIUS
All components of the casing as well as all electronic components (including batteries) have been designed for use at extreme temperatures and comply with the applicable strictest standard in the auto industry.
This means that IWARN® is fully useable and functional between -30° and +80° Celsius.

AS STURDY AS A TANK
MIL-STD-810 is an American military standard specifying environment test conditions for military equipment. IWARN® complies with this standard and provides vast impact protection and is specially protected against vibrations, moisture, compressed air and temperature fluctuations.

ULTRA-STRONG POWER SUPPLY
IWARN® comes with two 2500 mAh high-level batteries for a total power of 5000 mAh to be on the safe side. The batteries can be recharged up to 1000 times and are equipped with their own protection circuit preventing reliably any risk of explosion. For example, it is perfectly safe to transport IWARN® on a plane. IWARN® is recharged with the included USB cable via the water-proof and dust-tight micro USB port integrated in the casing. When the battery charge level drops below a certain value, IWARN® can send automatically a warning text message to its owner.

DIRECTIONS FOR HELICOPTERS
As a standard feature, IWARN® allows pointing arrows to the left or to the right. When turning IWARN® by 90 degrees they are pointing up or down. With this signal, it is possible to show rescue helicopter pilots already from a great distance whether or not it is possible to land (arrow up: “DO NOT LAND – DANGER!” / arrow down: “LANDING POSSIBLE!”).

Thanks to its compact and ergonomic design, IWARN® holds perfectly in your hand and enables safe and convenient operation – especially when the weather is bad and when you are wearing gloves. Moreover, its lines were optimized in the wind tunnel to protect it against turbulences. This makes IWARN® particularly resistant to wind loads. When placed on the car top (using the magnetic base that comes standard), IWARN® can withstand easily wind speeds of 150 km/h.

If your car has been stolen with IWARN® inside you
can activate IWARN® via the installed GSM module by a
simple call. You will receive then regular text messages from your activated IWARN® indicating the respective GPS
positions. This will allow you to track your vehicle and
to inform the police about the current position.

PERFECT TO TAKE AWAY
From the very beginning, IWARN® has been designed for a maximum of mobile applications. As a result, the entire casing and its surface are extremely resistant to a great number of influences be it mechanical (abrasion, scratches, corrosion, impacts), chemical (acids, alkaline solutions, fuels, detergents) and climatic (water, dust, microparticles, heat, cold) so IWARN® can be used even under the most adverse conditions. The integrated lug allows attaching IWARN® safely by means of a carabine.

USE IN EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENT
IWARN® has been designed in a way that no inadmissibly high temperatures develop inside or outside. Parts which may be source of ignition can withstand the pressure of an explosion. The penetration of gas into the casing is limited and no sparks occur. As a result, IWARN® can be used in potentially explosive situations, for example after an accident of a dangerous goods vehicle where flammable gases, vapours or dusts may occur.

Protection of the environment is not a lip service to us but it is a real concern. This is why we and our partners exhaust all possibilities to reduce environmental stress when it comes to production and packaging of IWARN®. The use of the two rechargeable high-quality batteries in IWARN® is a good example. Normal batteries require up to 600 times more energy than they can provide. When taking into account also the expenditure of energy necessary for transportation and storing, the burden of CO2 is enormous. Due to the high quality, we extend the service life of IWARN® and contribute in this way to the reduction of electrical waste.
