THE WAY.
IWARN® is the ideal tool to set up beacons within minutes to create a perfect mobile helipad for military helicopters. To that end, several IWARN® devices are arranged in a circle. To prevent them from being blown away by the strong downwash of the helicopter, they can be fixed to the ground using tent pegs or ground nails and the standard carabiner lug of IWARN®.
IWARN® is available also as a special night vision model in which the regular LEDs are replaced by special LEDs using infrared light technology. Therefore, the emitted light beam can be seen just by persons wearing night sight devices or night vision goggles so a helipad using this type of beacon cannot be seen at night by enemy troops.
